Unfortunately I never had a chance to listen to the original voices of Kingdom Hearts, so I can't say anything about them. Nonetheless it's funny that Miyu Irino is actually the voice of Haley Joel Osment, Sora's american voice actor, in Sixth Sense.

Well, that said, I have heard Miyu Irino in D.N. Angel before, but that doesn't mean I know how his Kingdom Hearts voicing is. Although I remember that I found his voice not all too fitting for Daisuke...

While I definitely know Haley Joel Osment, I'm not very familiar with his voice due to constant dubbing and never having seen a movie featuring him in original tone either. Thus, the only chance I had to listen to his voice acting was in the english opening and ending of KH1 (and in a trailer in which Sora exclaims "Heal!" once, lol). So, not a lot of opportunities and very little to judge from.

Anyway, from what I heard, I think I can say that - at least in the intro - his voice appears rather similar to the one of his german voice actor. Although, I think, Haley Joel Osment is a little younger than him (in fact, Constantin von Jascheroff is the oldest of the three voice actors), which you can also tell from his voice in my opinion.

Apart from that, however, I can't really say anything about him or his voice acting.

Since I only played the german version of Kingdom Hearts, this is the 'Sora' I have most listened and am used to. It was really unfamiliar to hear a german video game dub for once, because usually, if games have voices, we only get the english/american dubs (at least with such unpopular genres as RPGs or generally games from Japan, as they aren't as financially successful) - and a good one, even. I guess we oew that one to Disney, because I haven't even seen a german-dubbed Final Fantasy so far.

Other than what I'm used to (and would have expected), this is even a synchronization that has a pretty high quality and that I personally like (wow - and I didn't like the dubs of Spirited away or Princess Mononoke and all the other Ghibli movies). This fondness of mine also includes Sora, as he has one of the main roles and if his voice were screwed up, I could probably not claim to like the synchro.

Before being introduced to him/his voice in KH, I had, however, never heard of him before (I also couldn't recall his voice from any production I knew). But... it was indeed a positive surprise.

Useless info: While von Jascheroff dubbed Jake Lloyd as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars - Episode I: Phantom Menace, the german voice of Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker in Episodes II & III, Wanja Gerick, speaks Riku.

By the way he also looked quite cute when he was still a little boy... not that this was of any importance or particular interest, but. And he's credited as "Konstantin von Jascheroff" in the german manual as well as the ending credits...
