Cheerful Sky
|| layout

The layout of the first version was actually copied from inspired by the third version of Zero and my current WinAmp skin (Hopeful from Exquisite). Oh, and I just love blue (bestest color evar!).

There's not really a lot to write about it, except for it gave me hard time deciding which fonts to use (and in the end they still all look cruel to me) and I hope that the luminosity is accessible for everyone, because my monitor is actually rather dark and thus everything usually looks lighter on other computers; however, this time I tried to create the layout while watching over the whole thing with differing intensities.

The picture obviously features Sora and it's an opening screenshot of Kingdom Hearts that I got from Same Sky. For all the other things I used, such as scripts, please take a look at the credit section or the small piece just below this text.

The fonts I used for the layout are Malagua Demo, Carpenter ICG and Bickley Script for the main title writing as well as Diamond Gothic (and Bickley Script again) for the background stuff. For the menu I used Ernest. As usual, I 'edited' the graphic with Adobe Photoshop 6 and wrote the HTML/PHP (not that there was a lot of PHP to begin with...) in Phase 5 and Notepad.

In the title bar we have a quote - who could have guessed it - from Simple & Clean, the english opening song of Kingdom Hearts, written and performed by Hikaru Utada.

Although the layout is optimized for Internet Explorer, it should work in Firefox and Opera just as well (I tested in one verison each, but I don't know about the others - same goes for IE, by the way).

This version is called Ao Zora ("blue sky" in Japanese) and dedicated to Jill, because everyone else sucks she's great.
